changed wordpress theme adsense ads appeared. - 2 new

When I changed from wordpress 'Classic' theme to a three-column theme relevant
adsense ads appeared. I had not signed up for adsense at the time. I have
consequently signed up. I'm okay with the look and placement of the ads. My
question is do I still need to add code and if so will that change the ad
