High CTR doesn't always guide to high earning. You should concentrate about
your earning. You haven't share your website link. So we are unable to comment
about your ad format and ad placements. Generally wider ad format works better.
See optimization tips from Google from resource tab in your adsense account. -

behave different. It's all about increase earning. You will notice different
CTR in different ad units. The day when you will get more clicks in first ad
unit you will earn more. In case you don't know about first ad unit you can

Hi, I run adsense on three pages of my site that have popular flash games on
them. Last year, I just had one game, "Attack of the Sprouts" (http:// [link]),
and the ads on that page have always done really well, and have always had a
rough average of 2% CTR, and have NEVER dipped below 1%. - Thurs, Nov 29 2007

Checkout the layout of my new site: [link]Is this a successful layout? Has
anyone used this style before? Do you think the image on the home page
violates the TOS? Thanks so much! - Thurs, Nov 29 2007 10:43 am

Need help getting relevant ads - 3 new

I have a site where users can submit images they've taken in video games, and
others can comment on them. A submitter can give their image a title (it's
required), and can write some copy about that image if they wanted. However,
it's rare that they do. It's also very rare that people comment on these
images. - Thurs, Nov 29 2007 1:23 pm

Combing Adsense and Adwords? - 1 new
------------------------------------
During my learning process I learned the hard way that in doing this you loose
money because often the ads that are placed on your site pay less or the same
as the ads you are buying. Example if your site is about new cars then you
will need to buy terms relating to new cars and the ads placed on your site
will probably be using the same terms - Fri, Nov 30 2007 1:02 am
