    Verizon Communications has asked the FCC to make it easier for consumers to replace cable operators as their video-service providers with telecom companies, Verizon said today. Many cable companies refuse to accept switch-out orders from the telecoms, a situation that places an undue burden on consumers, Verizon said. Reuters (3/26)
