For years now I as an owner of a popular Google Group have wanted to make some
money from the adverts Google Groups displays. However, Google Groups only has
sponsored links, and the owner of a group makes no money from ads on Google

The 'should/shouldn't I' block MFAs debate will rage long and hard and,
personally, I don't think there's anything new to be said there. For me there
are really two key issues: 1) There's no point in asking for the list to be
extended because, as Cass points out, if it's 200, 500 or 5000, there'll

HeirKok, You've missed the point that Cass makes, that has been made countless
times on this board. Adsense is a tool for publishers to display Adwords ads
that Adwords customers have paid for, in some cases quite a lot of money. As
an Adwords customer I MUST know that wherever my ad is shown it has a

Global adsense unit design with page tracking - 2 new

What I'd like to do is define a single global ad unit for my site, say a 468x
60 banner in a particular set of colors. That's easy of course, and it enables
me to do a global change of colors at any time. However I'd like to track the
ad unit's performance on, say, 100 different pages. Now I can do this by
