As chief executive officer and the one who oversaw the Nextel merger, Gary Forsee has been under pressure to improve Sprint's performance. The carrier has declined to comment on the reports. Variety (10/4) Vox Telecom to buy ISP assets Vox Telecom has forged an agreement to buy the ISP business owned by South Africa's biggest retail bank, Absa. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. Reuters (10/5) Ericsson gains bigger share of AT&T contract, report says Ericsson has more than 50% of a contract to deliver 3G mobile infrastructure to AT&T for its U.S. network, which is encroaching on Alcatel-Lucent's share of the deal, the Financial Times reports.
