Seeking a basis for co-operation among telecommunication and internet service industries, the European telephone regulators wants a harmonized rule that would protect the usage of VoIP service within the 27 member nations. This came as a result of the groups intention to correct the wrong notion claimed by some VoIP call providers and therefore not under any obligation to offer some services
